Ending one season to start another can be hard – schedules and routines may shift, not to mention changes in weather, moods and even stress levels.
As hard as it may be for summer to end, loving this image from Well+Good to help us turn around those mindsets.
Whether or not you agree that September may be the best, what better way to recharge and refocus to start Fall on the right foot than to focus on yourself:
- Ensure you’re finding time for self-care.
- Check in on your goals to see where you stand and how you want to finish out the year.
- If you indulged a bit this summer – as you rightly should have been – take time to refocus on cleaner eating, meal planning and prep and exercise that will surely help keep those stress levels down and energy levels up.
- Focus on incorporating some down time into your routine before the hustle and bustle of the holiday season rolls around (yeah, I know I said that, but we all know how quickly these autumn months can roll on by) .
- Look to see what items you may no longer need – whether it be clothing or not – so you can prioritize and keep items you will actually use vs passing on/donating/selling.
- Take time to appreciate all the good in your life.
Here’s to changing leaves and temperatures and embracing all that September and Fall will bring ❤
