Seasonal Bucket Lists

As a family, we like to take some time as we approach the start of a new season to think of all the activities we’d like to do together to best enjoy the upcoming months and create bucket lists.

Sure, some things are realistic and doable, while others may carry over season after season because priorities shift and new and unexpected events and obligations may arise.

While the temperatures here have felt more like summer than fall but with October’s arrival (?!?), we sat down the other day to get our fall bucket list started and I love seeing the excitement grow as we brainstorm what may make the cut.

Some activities fall into the traditional route like quintessential apple and/or pumpkin picking or mini road trips like visiting a museum in the city or local attractions (Storm King is on my list!).

While others can be simple things we may find ourselves wanting to do but may push off when life gets in the way – such as family sleepovers, local train rides and stuffed animal “parties.”

Do you like to make seasonal bucket lists?

Would love to hear how you like to mark the start of a new season and what makes it onto your lists!
