When Pinterest launched a decade ago, I remember being very intrigued, overwhelmed, motivated, intimated, you name it.
So many awesome ideas that could yield amazing results….. or flops.
While I don’t certainly use it as often nowadays – probably most for Girl Scout meeting inspiration (ha!) – I can tell you one of the greatest ideas that a pin gave me was this very simple, yet profound Valentine’s Day decorating idea, which has become a highly anticipated tradition in our house.
Thankfully, it’s easy and involves only minimal materials: paper, markers, scissors, tape, and, well, love.
And, I promise you won’t mess it up!
Simply cut out 14 hearts that showcase what makes your child unique/ what you love about them – and you could certainly do this for a significant other, friend, colleague, etc!
On February first, tape one heart on their door, and then do the same every day until your final heart on Valentine’s Day.
Have fun and enjoy this easy craft that will yield endless smiles and excitement as they leave their room each morning ❤
