Fall Fashion Challenge – Let’s Shop Our Closets

Back to school.

Changing temperatures.

Fall and winter fashions.

Closet changes.

Endless opportunities to shop outside of your closet for something new but let’s try another challenge this fall.

Don’t get me wrong – I absolutely love back to school shopping and picking up some new items for fall (and beyond), but this year it feels like priorities have shifted.

Of course I’m not saying don’t buy new when you/your family have outgrown essentials or need to replace items or support brands that do better.

Instead this fall, let’s all challenge ourselves to focus on the wants vs. the needs and saying no to fast fashion by first looking inside our closets before shopping new.

Wondering how to get started?

Look to style your summer favorites into fall by layering and getting creative.

Repeat after me – repeating outfits isn’t bad!

And if/when you shop new, be sure to think about whether or not that purchase will go with items already in your closet and how long-lasting it may be (think will I want to wear this in three years?!).

Finding ways to maximize your closet, minimize your footprint and save some sweet moolah has never been easier and glad we can always challenge ourselves together.
