
Snacks, snacks, snacks on repeat – we aren’t the only ones, right?!
After our recent sugar vacay, I decided to upgrade a few of our go-to snacks and find alternatives with less/no added sugar. Don’t get me wrong, we eat our fair share of sugar in this house (I’m all about 80/20) and that isn’t stopping anytime soon. BUT, when we can minimize our sugar intake by making simple, better swaps, I’m all for it, although it can be tricky and requires all the label reading!
After seeing Skout Organic pop up on my social media feed several times and doing a little research, I was intrigued and knew we had to try them – and they did not disappoint! Now, Skout Organic’s kid and protein bars have become our latest, clean snack obsession. A huge hit for every family member, they’re delicious, made of minimal, whole organic ingredients and 0g of added sugar!
Yes, they have naturally occurring sugar from the fruit, but that’s it and I’m glad there’s no additional, unnecessary sneaky sugar, as that happens far too often. Most of our favorite Skout Organic bars do contain nuts but some don’t, so you’ll need to double check what may be school-safe and allergy-friendly before buying.
I also absolutely love that you can build your own box on their site and when they arrive, there isn’t any unnecessary outer packaging – they arrive loose, so they’re easy to store and ready for both little and big hands to grab and go!
