Summer Hair Favorites

Summer Hair Essentials (conditioner not pictured since my restock is en route!)

Do you find yourself simplifying your hair routine over the summer? Maybe it’s letting your hair air dry more often, adding salt spray or retiring your straightener for a few months.

While my hair game is already quick and low maintenance, I definitely look to simplify it more during the summer and here are a few of my favorite, safer products that keep it looking good:

  • goop Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo – Meet your new favorite clarifying shampoo. Not only does it wash your hair super well and feels great, it also helps remove any buildup, oil and anything else from summer sweating, heat and humidity. I love using this once a week!
  • R+Co Spiritualized Dry Shampoo Mist – If you don’t wash your hair everyday, finding a dry shampoo that works for your hair is key. Love this cleaner mist as there is no powdery residue and it works well as the perfect refresh between washes to keep your hair looking fresh and clean. Plus, you’re conserving water by skipping this step or your shower completely!
  • Beautycounter Shampoo and Conditioner – A little goes a long way with our shampoo and conditioner, as it purifies and further breaks down buildup without striping or drying out your hair. I love doing a double cleanse of my hair here and there to further the time between washings. Plus, the bottles last forever!
  • Wet Brush Go Green Hair Detangler – Everyone needs a good brush to handle knots post swims and beach breezes. Wet Brushes work so well, as they help your overall hair health, and especially love this new Go Green model. This eco-friendly handle is made from an all natural biodegradable plant starch that will break down within five years in a landfill – woohoo!!

While you may find myself reaching for these go-tos more during the hot summer days, these products are awesome year-round as well!
