Better Toilet Paper Must Reads

Living clean can feel overwhelming at times, amiright? (And life in general, I know.)

That’s why I remind myself daily that it’s always about progress, not perfection.

Seeing NRDC’s recent sustainability report about toilet paper was reassuring, as my go-to brand got an A – woohoo!!

But then I saw Mamavation’s report about TP brands and PFAS – cue the conflicting reports (although know for different reasons) and another thing I hadn’t thought/worried about before.

FOREVER CHEMICALS IN TOILET PAPER?!

Shit (ha!), these pesky chemicals are everywhere…..

I’ve been using Who Gives A Crap for years – love their mission and their TP has been great – but it was alarming to see PFAS detected in their products.

Am I tossing all the TP I have from them?

NO!

I am finishing what I have and since I need to restock our supply soon, I decided to try Caboo, another sustainable, bamboo brand – and I will report back when we start using it!

Information is power and with everything ever-changing, it’s important to stay informed.

So, let’s continue to focus on what we can control and shop accordingly.
