Starting with one Small Step

With summer winding down (I know, I know, I said that, but it’s sadly true), anyone else starting to feel a bit more frazzled by (the thought of) back to school, end of summertime sadness and welcoming in a new month/routine? 

Well, it’s all normal, but love this reminder to just start with one thing today – yes, start small – and let’s repeat it tomorrow to help us ease into all the things.

  • Whether you’re forgetting to schedule time for yourself in the midst of chaos.
  • Or, getting so caught up in plans that you get distracted from and forget the morning routine that grounds you down for the day ahead.
  • Getting take out to save time but sacrificing the nourishing foods you really need right now.
  • Skimping on your water intake and feeling dehydrated and sluggish.
  • Or, putting off starting that new workout class or morning meditation because you don’t have the time.

Now and going forward, let’s remind ourselves together that we are worth it and remember how small steps add up.

So, let’s motivate each other to choose wisely and make time today for ourselves, as well as the things that fire us up and/or calm us down. Oh and definitely repeat it tomorrow, too 💓
