Is your phone’s camera roll filled with 20,000+ pictures and hundreds of videos, too?
Editing down your camera roll can be bittersweet and also so overwhelming and time-consuming. When my friend Carrie shared @ashleyrosereeves amazing tip, I knew that I had to share it with you all – and yes, it’s fun and legit a game-changer that will take you five minutes (or less) each day.
Start by setting a daily reminder to clean up your camera roll and choose whatever time is most convenient for you – for me, it’s 9:30pm when at least one of my kids is in bed, ha!
Next, search today’s date in your camera roll and take a few minutes to go through everything that comes up – delete all the dupe pictures you may have while trying to nail that shot, screenshots you long forgot about, recipes you won’t make, blurry photos, videos you no longer care about, you name it.
Only keep the photos and videos you love and need. Also, remember to delete your recently deleted folder often, so you can maximize your storage.
Depending on how long you’ve had your phone and how many pictures/videos you have, this may become a fun trip down memory lane and a task that you’ll enjoy. Plus, every day you’ll be closer to a cleaner, more organized camera roll and extra phone storage aka the holy grail!!
