How often do you wait to wash your face and apply your nightly skincare until right before bed aka when you’re on the brink of exhaustion and can barely even brush your teeth before wanting to crash?
I’ve been in this situation waaaaaay too many times, either feeling too busy to stop earlier in the night to wash up or just wanting my couch instead 😉
So, instead of postponing the important step of washing up and applying skincare, I’ve vowed to be more intentional and over the past almost year, I’ve started a new, and totally doable habit. Now, I prioritize getting ready for bed either immediately after cleaning up after dinner or as soon as my kids are in bed.
This way, you feel settled and ready to relax, whether that’s catching up on Housewives on your couch, making that nighttime cup of tea or reading in bed.
For me, I still leave brushing my teeth as the final step before bed, but moving up my nightly skincare has honestly been a game-changer. Tired me is always so grateful that I had the foresight to wash up earlier vs. skipping it out of sheer laziness (which I always inevitably regretted come morning)!
