Better Gingerbread Houses From Trader Joe’s

It’s officially the holiday season- buckle up 😉 !!!

If you and your family enjoy decorating gingerbread houses, you need to stop into your local Trader Joe’s and pick up their gingerhouse house kits.

Why?

One, they’re $9 each, which I think is a fair price for everything you get (and I wouldn’t spend more than $10 max, ha!).

Two, they’re a product of Germany and therefore made from better ingredients, like vegetable juices and spices, to dye the candy decorations. We personally don’t really eat any of the decorations, but if your kids do (or if they can’t resist a taste here and there), I appreciate these better ingredients.

Three, the gingerbread house, creatures and candy decor are freaking adorable and it’s a lot of fun to put together!

So, if you’re looking for a fun holiday activity that’s relatively inexpensive, head to Trader Joe’s this week! I remember in years past that these used to sell out quickly, but I feel (and hope!) that they’ve gotten a better handle on demand (although I’m still one to buy things when you see them on Trader Joe’s shelves because you never know what the next day or week could bring there!!).
