If you’re like me, you may see some people’s morning routines online and think, wow, that looks great, but I’m never going to have the time to do that. Right?!
So, inspiration is great, but it’s all about taking what’s realistic for you and will help set you and your day up for the most success.
Do you ever ground?
Grounding is putting your feet directly into the Earth, whether it’s grass, sand or dirt, for a few minutes and reaping such benefits as a mood boost, helping circulation, decreasing stress/anxiety and inflammation, bettering your sleep, to name a few.
Want to maximize your grounding? Do some deep breathing, say three things aloud you’re grateful for, three intentions for the day or meditate! No better way to set up your morning for success with some mindfulness and easing into the day ahead.
In warmer months, one thing I love to do as early in the morning as get outside and ground. It’s easier now since I’m taking out my dog first thing and when I can, I love habit stacking, like drinking my green juice alongside some grounding.
For me, grounding helps me mentally prep for the day ahead and I strive to do this daily, or as often as possible. Remember, it’s progress, not perfection 😉
Are your mornings too busy? Try to fit in grounding any time of the day that’s best for you for an instant reset.
Heck yes to practices that add more peace and calm in our lives and connecting with Mother Earth to re-center ❤
