As we work together during Earth Month to find ways we can better our planet, one simple step we can all take is shortening the length of our showers.
Yes, I know showers can be sacred times for many and I’m not saying to skip them.
Instead, try to shorten your showers and keep them to five minutes or less.
Why? According to PETA, you can reduce the amount of water that you use by nearly one-third, or roughly 10 gallons per day, just by keeping your showers to five minutes!
For some, this may be a big challenge and for others, it is probably a no brainer.
If you fall into the former camp, start by gradually reducing your shower length by one minute each time.
Consider setting a timer or playing a short playlist to keep you accountable.
Not only will you expedite your mornings or evenings, but you’ll also save on your water bill as you help Mother Earth, too ❤
