Sun safety is so important to me, especially as we are spending more and more time outside with sports, warmer weather and thankfully pool/beach days that feel like they are inching closer and closer. One go-to, safer sunscreen brand that my family has used for years and trust is Supergoop, specifically their mineral SPF.
My general rule of thumb when it comes to sunscreen is to opt for mineral sunscreen, so pay attention to the ingredients and make sure your SPF is made from either zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide. When Supergoop recently offered to send (some newer-to-me) sunscreen to try, I immediately said yes and I’m so excited to put them to the test.
While I’m usually wearing a hat when I’m in the sun for longer periods of time, I was thrilled to find Supergoop’s (re)setting powder years ago for times when I’m not. It’s the best to protect our scalps (and beyond) while enjoying time outside and it’s so easy to apply and reapply!
I’ve long been a fan of their Mineral Unseen Sunscreen and it seems it’s been upgraded now to this Mineral Mattescreen, with the same mineral protection plus a super soft finish aka drama-free application 😉 I prefer the untinted, but love that it’s also available in three shades if you like tinted SPF for additional ease.
